George Willard Yeubanks age 82 of Coffeyville passed away on February 10, 2018 at Windsor Place.
Willard was born on April 10, 1935 in Dearing to Floyd Arvel and Virgie Lois (Frye) Yeubanks. He attended school in Coffeyville until the eighth grade when he left school to help out his family of 12 siblings. Willard used his fiddle music talent playing dances in area country bands for 50 plus years He also enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing, camping, horseshoes and playing fast-pitch softball.
He will be remembered for his friendly demeanor and his willingness to help where he could, always making sure his guests were fed was important to him. Willard and Lorena were members and baptized at the Central Baptist Church, where Lorena would often play the piano and Willard on the Fiddle. Willard was an avid fan of KU Basketball and the Coffeyville Community College Red Ravens Basketball and Football Games, but he was truly the greatest fan of his children, they were his pride.

I will always have my many memories of Willard starting back when they owned Family Delight in Dearing. I worked for them for many years up until the day sold it to my parents. I enjoyed going to Country Time Theater and listing to him play the fiddel. I also enjoyed the family reunions listening to Willard and his boys and the rest of the family play music together. He will always be remembered through those memories. Heaven gained a very special angel. You all are in my thoughts and Prayers.

Another one of the old friends that ran around that area in the late 40s and 50s in my day. He was popular then and well liked just one of the good old boys from a good old family and was a great fiddle player. I was around a lot of good fiddle players all my years in Nashville but none any better.
