Starrinda Martin

Starrinda Martin age 32 of Tulsa, Oklahoma was taken from this world way too soon on June 3, 2019.

She was born on Mach 9, 1987 in Coffeyville, KS to Lafayette Green and Debra (Burgess) Ratliff. She attended local schools in Coffeyville before graduating. After school she was united in marriage and was blessed with two beautiful babies, Raniah Martin and Roger Martin III. They became her life; she would strive daily to be the best mother she possibly could be. Starrinda will be remembered most for her always upbeat, happy, smiling self. She often played jokes on her family and friends; they all agree that she had the best personality ever. She had a passion for the arts; she was truly talented in arranging floral arrangements. She also has always enjoyed butterflies, admiring their beauty and peacefulness. Starrinda cherished her late grandparents and often would say how she wished they were still here.

Starrinda's memories will live on with her beloved children Raniah Martin and Roger Martin III, her father Lafayette Green, mother Debra Burgess, brother Sir Charles Burgess his wife Jeanette, her cousin who she loved as a sister Antonia Brown, grandmother Shirley Green, her cherished nieces and nephews; Siriana, Davian, Nevaeh, Sir Charles Jr, and Jayla Burgess, uncles; Don Sales, Delbert Sales, Larry Anderson, Anthony Thames, and Sir Douglas Ratliff, Aunts Jacqualine McMillan, Julie Brown her husband Antonius Brown, and Gwendolyn Wiggins.

She now rests with her grandparents; Ida Bell and Douglas Ratliff and Eloise and Roy Burgess Sr, uncles Ricky "Milton" Nolan and George Anderson, and aunt Deloris Williams.

Home going services will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 11:00am at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel 2405 Woodland Ave. Coffeyville, KS 67337. Burial will immediately follow at Fairview Cemetery. Friends are invited to sign the register and greet the family on Friday, June 7, 2019 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm also at the Chapel.
