Alice Howard age 89, of Coffeyville, KS passed away on October 18, 2015 at Windsor Place.
Alice Was born April 26, 1926 to Lee Alva Cleo and Agnes Carrie (Bradshaw) McCulley in Cherryvale. At the age of five the family moved to Coffeyville, where she attended Coffeyville Schools and graduated in 1943 from Coffeyville Field Kindley High School. She worked many years at the Nu-Way Foodliner Grocery and retired on her 65th birthday in 1991. Her hobbies were crocheting and working crossword puzzles. Alice was an avid sports fan and loved cooking, especially baking.
Left to honor her memory are her daughters Toni Key and Janice Murdock and husband Garry, grandchildren Brock Key, Cristian Murdock and wife Kerry, Charity Murdock, Carey Murdock, great-grandchildren McKennah Murdock, Lola Murdock, and William Murdock. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and a brother
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday October 21, 2015 at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Dr. J. Dean McNamara of First Baptist Church officiating. Friends are invited to greet the family at 12:00 p.m. till service time. The family suggests memorials to the First Baptist Church of Coffeyville where Alice was a member for many years.
