Ambrose E. Thomas 1934 2007 Ambrose E. Thomas entered into rest on Monday, March 26, 2007. He was 72 years old. He was born on October 5, 1934 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Roosevelt and Pearlie Mae Adams Thomas. He attended schools in Mansfield, Ohio. Ambrose retired as the owneroperator of Thomas Pest Control in California. Survivors include daughter, Cherice Thomas of rural Independence, Kansas; son, Claudell Elias of Kansas City, Kansas; life-mate, Marilyn Goodson of Independence, Kansas; and twelve grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and three brothers. Mr. Thomas will lie in state on Friday, March 30, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday March 31, 2007 at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel. Cremation will take place at a later date.
