Anna Laura Bond, 92, of Coffeyville, Kansas went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 21, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 25, 2008 at Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel of Coffeyville, KS. Interment will follow in Wann Cemetery, Wann, Oklahoma. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church in care of Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home. Anna was born on November 11, 1915 in Tulsa County, Oklahoma, the daughter of Isaac and Virgie Brittain Gregg. She worked as a cook for Witwer School, Nowata County, Oklahoma for many years and later worked as a CNA in Winfield and Coffeyville, KS. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank M. Bond, sons, Glen, Ed, and Jake Bond, daughter, Ameila Bond, three grandsons and two granddaughters. Anna is survived by her children, Virginia Busey and husband, Gail, Dick Bond and wife, Glenda, Laura Stansbury and husband, Clarence, Lucille Beesley, David Bond and wife, Martha, Fred Bond and wife, Skip, Joyce Rexwinkle, Joann Wright, Frances Robertson and husband, Joe; daughter-in-law, Kay Bond; 26 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
