AnnaBelle H. Smith 1912 2007 AnnaBelle H. Smith, age 94, Coffeyville resident entered into rest on January 7, 2007 at the Jane Phillips Medical Center, Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She was born February 23, 1912 in Jefferson City, Missouri to Henry P. and Anna K. Kuhlman Schmidt. In 1922 at the age of 10 her family moved to Coffeyville, Kansas. She was a 1930 graduate of Field Kindley Memorial High School. In 1931 she married Grady S. Smith. They lived in Coffeyville, Oklahoma, Washington, California and back to Coffeyville when Grady accepted a job as the first motorcycle policeman in Coffeyville. He preceded her in death April of 1947. Mrs. Smith retired from the Parsons Ammunition Plant 1977. Mrs. Smith was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church, Coffeyville. She was also active in the Altar Society, Quilting Club and Card Clubs. Survivors include her son, Gregory Smith and his wife Deborah of Coffeyville; one daughter-in-law, Shirley Smith of Coffeyville. 5 grandchildren, Mike Smith, Chris Smith, Sherry Bunch and Kaci Smith all of Coffeyville; Carrie Smith, Lawrence, Ks; 10 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren. One brother, Leonard Schmidt of Tulsa, Ok. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one son, Don E. Smith, one grandson, Rick, one brother, Winfred Schmidt. VisitationCalling hours: Mrs. Smith will lie in state on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Home, 2405 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville. Recitation of the Rosary will be 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at the Holy Name Catholic Church. Fr. Jerome Spexarth will be officiating. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 11, 2007 at the Holy Name Catholic Church. Fr. Jerome Spexarth will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Penwell-Gabels Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Coffeyville, KS.
