Antonio Jamaul Burnett, 40 of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away at Jane Phillips Ascension St. Johns on Sunday, May 7, 2023.
Antonio was born on January 17, 1983, to Carmen La Rayne Burnett and Johnny Ausler. He began his education at Whittier Elementary School in Coffeyville and graduated from Field Kindley Memorial High School and attended Coffeyville Community College specializing in the Welding Program. Antonio had a passion for football in addition to welding. His favorite NFL teams were the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos.
Prior to Antonio’s failing health he worked in various foundries in the area. He loved to play video games, dance (not very well, but he gave it his all), rap, making people laugh and fishing.
Antonio enjoyed being around family especially his eleven children, Gabriel, Marquise, LaKeisha, Jamaul, Aliaize, Markell, Dreden, Samuel, Zah’Mia, Abel, and Omarion.
Antionio was a proud father and loved his children with all his heart. He was also an amazing uncle to his nieces and nephews; he was funny and courageous.
Antionio is survived by his eleven children, father Johnny Ausler; brother Ramon Burnett and wife Vanessa; Grandmother Ethel Colbert; nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles and friends. He is proceeded in death by his mom Carmen La Rayne Burnett, son Markell Burnett Richardson and brother Clinton Burnett.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023, at 2pm at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville, Kansas. Pastor Melvin Simpson will be officiating. Cremation will follow the services and Antonio will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery near his family who have preceded him in death. Services will be streamed live under his obituary page at www.fordwulfbrunschapel.com where you may also leave an online condolence or share a memory with the family.
