Antwon Mcpherson Sr.

Antwon Vernell Deshon McPherson Sr. age 41 of Joplin, MO passed away October 26, 2017.

Antwon was born in Coffeyville on October 28, 1975 to James Edward McPherson and Reatha Kendrex. He attended Coffeyville schools and graduated from Field Kindley High school. He continued his education at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. He was employed by Oklahoma Parks and Recreation in the City of Lawton. He loved playing basketball; his favorite team was the Los Angeles Lakers. He was also a die-hard Oakland Raiders fan. He was a serious jokester and always had a great sense of humor. Antwon wanted to be a friend to everyone he met, easy to talk to and eager to help others. His favorite times were just being with his family and friends.

His memories will live on with his mother Reatha (Kendrex) Clark and his seven children, four sons. Antwon Jr., Marshawn, Daytwon, and Omarion McPherson, three daughters, NeAsja, Danielle, and TyKesha McPherson. His Brother Shannon McPherson, sisters, Leondas Davolt , Omari Clark, his significant other Jamie Kellar, and numerous family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father James Edward McPherson, step father Johnny Clark and God Father Lawrence Hayes.
