Arlene Mitchell

Arlene Anne Mitchell, 58, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away January 22, 2011 at her home. Arlene was born on December 19, 1952 in Hartford, Connecticut to Robert Dean Tracy, Sr. and Josephine Klecman Tracy. The family moved to Coffeyville when Arlene was age 12. She was a member of the Business Professionals of America. In 1997 she earned her Certification in Medical Transcription from the Coffeyville VoTech. On September 26, 1997 she was united in marriage to Daniel Lynn Mitchell. He preceded her in death July 30, 2001. Arlene enjoyed scrap booking, painting, and reading books by V.C. Andrews as well as medical mysteries. Most of all she enjoyed her time with family and her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Tim Wilkison of the home daughters, Lisa Collins and partner, Sandy Westervelt, Brandy Cox and husband, Mike, Jill Ramey, Keri Collins, all of Coffeyville brothers, Robert Dean Tracy, Jr. and wife, Diane of Liberty, Ks, William Todd Tracy and wife, Monica of Yuma, Az, James Tracy of Liberty, Ks sisters, Alicia Tracy of Dewey, Ok eight grandchildren, Dawson, Dylan, Devin, Dakota and Kaylee Cox, Kaitlyn Ramey, KShon Feeling and Brennen Westervelt. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Josephine. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at PenwellGabel FordWulfBruns Chapel in Coffeyville. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery Veterans Patio. Friends may call on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. to sign the guest register. Family will greet friends Tuesday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to the Arlene Mitchell Memorial Fund co Condon Bank. These may be left with the funeral home.
