Obituary Barbara Fern Henton Barbara Fern Henton, age 76, Coffeyville resident passed early Sunday morning, June 25, 2006 at the St. John Medical Center, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Barbara was born February 4, 1930 in Coffeyville, Kansas to E. L.Bud Kaufman and Ruby Jamison Kaufman. She grew up and attended school in Coffeyville, Kansas. She graduated from Field Kindley Memorial High School 1947. She married Earl Blumenstein in 1947. They later
orced. He preceded her in death 1995. She then married Walter Henton in November of 1978 at Miami, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death 1998. She worked for New Castle Caf, Georges Cafeteria and Coffeyville State Bank as a Teller. Mrs. Henton was a member of the St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Coffeyville, KS. Survivors include: 1 daughter, Barbara Ann Albaugh, New Carlisle, Ohio; 2 sons, David Blumenstein, Coffeyville, Kansas and Michael Blumenstein, Conyers, Georgia 1 step-daughter, Kathy Hudson, Fort Worth, Texas; 2 step-sons, Randy Henton, Bartlesville, Oklahoma; Rick Henton, California. 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild 4 sisters, June Burdick, Joy Wittner, Carolyn Pope all of Coffeyville; Ruth Griffin, Ozark, Missouri; 1 brother, Clark Kaufman, Holden, Missouri. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 1 son, Larry Blumenstein, 2 sisters, Genevieve Dixon and Dorothy Nowadzky. VisitationCalling hours: 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 27, 2006 and 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 28, 2006. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 29, 2006 at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, Coffeyville, Kansas. Rev. Richard Peckman of the St. Pauls Lutheran Church.
