Beatrice Wester

Beatrice A. Wester, 95, Coffeyville, formerly of Edna, Kansas passed away early Monday morning at Windsor Place Assisted Living in Coffeyville, Kansas. She was born May 28, 1910, in San Diego, California, the daughter of Rollin Sterling and Ethel Stuart Coleman Aspenwall. She moved to the Edna community in 1950. Bea sold Avon for many years. She also worked for Maes Restaurant in Edna. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Edna where she was involved with many church organizations serving as Church Treasurer for 29 years. She married Robert Donald Wester. He passed away in 1992. She is survived by: One Son: Don Wester New Hope, Minnesota One Daughter: Jeri Cooper Welch, Oklahoma 6 Grandchildren 11 Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by one brother Lyle Aspenwall and one sister Jeanette Prout. A funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 27. 2005, at the First Baptist Church in Edna, Kansas. Interment will follow the service at the North Edna Cemetery. Mrs. Wester will lie in state from 1-8:00 p.m. Friday witht the family receiving friends from 7-8:00 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Chapel in Coffeyville.
