Betty Carolyn Tracy of Liberty, Kansas passed away November 4, 2010 at St. Johns Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was 71. Betty was born on September 30, 1939 in Savannah, Georgia to Olin and Annie Cobb Kicklighter. She grew up in the Savannah area where she attended school. On January 3, 1957 she was united in marriage to Raymond Tracy in Ridgeland, South Carolina. The couple made their home in Sacramento, California. Betty worked for Hunts Canery in Woodland, CA for a couple seasons. She worked five years as a manager for the snack bar at the local bowling alley. Most of all she was a homemaker who took care of her family as a proud military wife. She enjoyed cooking and crocheting, visiting with family and friends and meeting with a church group every Wednesday called the Wednesday Winners. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Liberty, KS. She is survived by her loving husband, Raymond of the home sons, Robert Tracy and wife, Virginia of Shelton, Washington, William Tracy and wife, April of Sacramento, California, Richard Tracy and wife, Susan of Lapine, Oregon brother, Olin Kicklighter of Sacramento, California sisters, Pauline Smith and husband, George of Louisville, Kentucky, Joyce Kicklighter of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida six grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Olin and Annie sisters, Annie Jacobson and Sylvia Kicklighter. The family has selected cremation and no funeral service will be held.
