Beulah Daisy Caldwell, 99, died Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. Beulah was born October 27, 1911 in rural Creek County, Oklahoma to Tom Sanders and Mollie Robinson Sanders. She grew up in the OiltonDrumright area and attended the local schools. Beulah met and married Charley Caldwell on September 6, 1929 at Drumright. Mr. Caldwell preceded his wife in death on October 21, 1989. The Caldwells lived in several locations as Charley followed oil field work. The Caldwells, came to Coffeyville in 1952 and were residents since that time. Beulah attended Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church. She had a knack for growing flowers, especially daisies. Beulah also enjoyed quilting and crocheting, making potholders, pillows and a plethora of other items. She also loved being around her family and spending time with them all. Survivors include three sons, Clarence Caldwell of Cocoa Beach, Florida, Walt Caldwell of Wray, Colorado and Bobby Caldwell and his wife, Sue of Ada, Oklahoma two daughters, Shirley Smith and her husband, Frank of Wray, Colorado and Donna Joplin and her husband, Jessie of Coffeyville two sisters, Billie Cook and her husband, John and Lorena Zinn, all of Dallas, Texas many grandchildren, greatgrandchildren and greatgreatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents by her husband, Charley by two sons, Edward and Frank Caldwell by a daughter, Florence Saner and by several brothers and sisters. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 16, 2011 at PenwellGabel FordWulfBruns Chapel with Pastor Wayne Martin officiating. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of PenwellGabel Funeral Home amp Crematory. Visitation will be Sunday, 16 pm at the funeral home. Donations are welcomed to the American Heart Association in memory of Mrs. Caldwell.
