Beulah Kuehn

Beulah Marie Hodges Kuehn of rural South Coffeyville passed away on Monday, August 9, 2010 she has resided the last nine years at Windsor Place in Coffeyville. She was born October 5, 1918 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Clarence and Ruby Cheek Hodges. She attended South Coffeyville School through elementary grades and graduated from Lenapah, OK High School in 1936. On September 16, 1938 she was united in marriage to Alvin G. Kuehn. She drove the South Coffeyville School bus for 23 years retiring in 1984. Beulah was a member of the St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Coffeyville, a former member of the Bellview Home Demonstration Club and the Ladies Aid at the Lutheran Church. She is survived by a daughter, Karen Pfister sons, Alvin Leon and wife Glenna, Wayne L. and wife Sandy, Jerry P. all of South Coffeyville sister, Carol Hugo of Bartlesville, OK eight grandchildren and fourteen greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents loving husband, Alvin brother, Alvin Hodges and sister, Bernice Drews. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Coffeyville. Pastor Richard Peckman will officiate. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at PenwellGabel FordWulfBruns Chapel to sign the guest register. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions can be made to the St. Pauls Lutheran Church, these may be left with the funeral home.
