One of her favorite rallies was the "Changing of the Colors Rally" in Mena, AR. After Buddy's passing she learned to drive the motorhome on her own and she would venture off to Mt. Rushmore where she would work the tourist season and then head the motorhome south to Yuma Arizona where she wintered. She also enjoyed reading and rarely missed her daily Bible reading. She loved spending time and keeping up with her grandchildren and great-grands.

Beverly's memories will live on with her children, Brent Blagg his wife Roxie, Brenda Smith her husband Michael and Bridget Everett, brother, Harold Short Jr his wife Judy, grandchildren, Erik Blagg his wife Christa, Andy Blagg his wife Blaire, Brandon Blagg his wife Labrina, Tara Blagg, Jennifer Letcher her husband Henry, Jeff Mohr his wife Jena, Joshua Smith his wife Athena, and Chris Cain, 15 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
