Beverly Jean Cranor 1928 -- 2008 Coffeyville resident, Beverly Jean Cranor, entered into eternal rest on January 20,2008 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was 79. She was born June 18, 1928 in Coffeyville to Paul C. and Gladys L. Wallace Shaw. She grew up and attended school in Coffeyville. Jean married Rocky Cranor on November 14, 1953, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. The couple made their home in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma. Jean was a homemaker and was a very self-educated person. She handled the books for her husband who worked as a salesman for Union Gas Company. Jean was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a wonderful cook and she could tell from the flavors of the dishes how to recreate the recipes in her own kitchen. She cooked from scratch and made her own pastries and bread. She was a member of the First Christian Church. She is survived by 3 daughters, B.J. Philo Steven of Lake Havasu, AZ; Judy Carol Elliott Charles of Bartlesville, OK; and Sheryl Camacho Robert of Independence, KS; 8 Grandchildren and 5 Great-grandchildren and one on the way; sisters, Marjorie Miranda and Betty Jo Harkins, both of Coffeyville. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 son, Carl Michael Cranor, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at the First Christian Church in Coffeyville with J.E. Reynolds officiating under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel of Coffeyville. Burial will follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery in Lenepah, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Christian Church, American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice and may be left with the funeral home of Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel in Coffeyville.
