Blossom Perry, 87, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Windsor Place in Coffeyville. Blossom was born on February 18, 1925 in Blackwell, Oklahoma to Madison and Hazel Hicks Davis. She grew up in Elgin, Kansas where she graduated high school in 1943. On February 19, 1943 she was united in marriage to Gerald R. Perry. The couple made their home in Coffeyville, Kansas where they owned and operated Perry Office Machines. Of this union four children were born. The couple later divorced. Blossom worked as a Dorm Mother for the Tulsa Boys Home from 1974 until 1981. She was a member of the First Christian Church the Jaycee Janes and was active in Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. She enjoyed old movies and television shows, she loved to spend time outdoors. She was fond of birds and cats. Most of all she was a great homemaker and good cook. Surviving to honor her memory are her children, Connie L. Williamson of Rogers, Arkansas, Steven W. Perry and wife, Sharon of Austin, Texas, Kenneth R. Perry and wife, Teresa of Lago Vista, Texas, Tana D. Neal of Coffeyville, Kansas sister, Virginia Coltharp of Sedan, Kansas 10 grandchildren and 9 greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Madison and Hazel brothers, Wilbert, Robert, Don, Claude and Eugene Davis and an infant sister, Bonnie Davis. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at PenwellGabel FordWulfBruns Chapel in Coffeyville. Chaplain Mike Graham will officiate. Burial will follow at Robbins Cemetery west of Coffeyville, Kansas. Friends may call on Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 8: 00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home to sign the guest register. Friends may also call on Sunday, March 11, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until service.
