Brian Dale Knisley, 51 of Texas, died Tuesday, Nov.27, 2018 in Big Spring, Texas
Mr. Knisley was born April 27, 1967, in Coffeyville to Gary Knisley and Linda (Carriker) Knisley He attended local schools.
Brian worked for the railroad most his life.
Mr.Knisley was involved in dirt track racing and would travel afar to participate or attend demolition derby as that was his true hobby.
Brian loved to travel back home to Coffeyville frequently to be with family as his grandchildren was the most precious gift to him.
Survivors include one son, Brian Knisley Jr. and wife Chelsey His grandchildren Danica and Brice. Of Coffeyville Kansas; Grandchildren Maquina Brooks and Chloe. His mother, Linda Knisley of Coffeyville. One brother, Shannon Knisley and wife Teresa of Joplin Mo. One sister, Ginger Waun and husband Jerry of Independence, Kansas, Tina Stevens close friend of their home in Texas, 6 Step children, Tressa , Nick, Brianna, Phillip, Johnathan and Kylie ,3 Neices,4 nephews and 2 great nephews and 1 great niece, several friends and family in and out of the derby and race community.
Proceeded in death by his Son Michael Knisley, Father Gary Knisley, Nephew Dakota Knisley, and both sets of grandparents.
Services will be at 2 pm Saturday Dec.15th, 2018 At the Emmanuel Chapel in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, with burial following in Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville. Friends may arrive at 1 pm to visit with family and friends before service. Race cars and Derby cars are welcome for one last lap at the cemetery as this was his final wish.
