Bruce W. Keck, age 75 passed away on September 29, 2021, at Windsor Place in Coffeyville, Kansas.

Bruce was born November 30, 1945, to Glenn A. and Constantina “Connie” (Nickas) Keck Jr.  in Coffeyville, Kansas.  Bruce started his elementary education in Tyro, Kansas and when he was entering the 7th grade the family moved to Coffeyville. At the end of his 8th grade year they moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico where he graduated from high school.  Soon after graduation Bruce enlisted into the US Marines where he served overseas during the Vietnam War.  Bruce had two brothers who also serviced in the military: one in the Army and one in the Air Force.  Bruce and his two brothers were all over seas serving in different areas of the world during the war.

After receiving his honorable discharge Bruce returned to the states and began studying Theology obtaining his degree at the Lutheran Seminary.  While pastoring in Lawton, Oklahoma he met Mary, the love of his life, and the two were wed.  Together they served in many churches for over 40 years.  They spent most of their time in Beloit, Kansas until 4 years ago when Bruce moved back to Coffeyville to be closer to his brother, Richard.  Mary preceded him in death on August 26, 2015.

Bruce is survived by his brothers, Bill Keck and his wife Irene of Roswell, New Mexico and Richard Keck and wife Karla of Coffeyville.

Graveside Funeral services for Bruce will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at 11:00 am at Fairview Veterans Patio with internment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery where he will be laid to rest next to his wife and parents.
