Carol Menefee

Coffeyville resident Carol Helen Menefee went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 12, 2007 in Bartlesville. She was 72. Carol was born December 25, 1934 in Miami, Florida to Elbert Eugene and Helen Ann Mitchell Fuller. She attended school in Coffeyville. On July 28, 1951 she married Frank Menefee in Miami, Oklahoma. The couple made their home in Coffeyville. Carol was a homemaker and later worked for the Coffeyville Journal and later MedSource Corporation. She enjoyed spending time with family, enjoyed sewing and made hundreds of aprons for the Middle Man Ministries in Mexico. She was a charter member of Grace Fellowship Church. She is survived by her sons and their wives, Earl and Connie Menefee and Mark and Teresa Menefee all of Coffeyville; daughters and their husbands, Karen and Bill Baldwin of Delaware, Oklahoma ; Kathy and Bernie Brehmer of Junction City, Susan and Jimmy Adams of Delaware, Oklahoma and Mary and Bill Jaimez of Coffeyville. There are 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank Menefee, one grandchild and a brother Gene Fuller. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, March 15, 2007 at the Grace Fellowship Church. Pastor Gerald Morris will officiate and burial will follow in Penwell-Gabels Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 from 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Home to sign the guest register. The family will recieve friends on Wednesday evening from 7 PM until 9 PM. At the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Grace Fellowship Church Building Fund.
