Carole Ann Morris age 73, of Coffeyville, passed away on March 4, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.
Carole was born in Coffeyville on March 27, 1943 to Donald and Mary (Ballew) Park. She attended schools in Coffeyville and graduated from Filed Kindley High School. After high school Carole met Philp Morris and the couple was united in marriage on August 24, 1963, they were blessed with a son and daughter. Once her children were of school age Carole started working at CRMC in the kitchen, where she would form a lifelong bond with her coworkers. She then went to work for Windsor Place as a CNA/CMA. Carole enjoyed going to the casino and playing bingo, she always looked forward going to lunch with her former coworkers each month, most of all she loved spending time with her family. Carole was a quiet lady and never spoke ill of anyone. She was a member of the Holy Name Catholic Church, the Alters Society, and Ladies Circle 3.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children; son, Philp M Morris II, daughter, Cindy Boomershine her husband Don, grandchildren; Stefen Daniels, Tommi, Shauna, and Kaylie Boomershine, great-grandchild; Alli Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 44 years, Philip, and brother, Terry Park.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 10:00am at Holy Name Catholic Church with Father Chad Arnold officiating. Friends are invited to sign the register and greet the family at Holy Name Catholic Church on Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm praying of the rosary will begin at 7:00pm. The family suggests memorials be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or the American Cancer Society and they may be left in care of Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
