Carroll Garnett Yeubanks 74, lifelong Coffeyville resident passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2014 at his home.

Carroll was born in Coffeyville, Kansas to Lloyd and Virge Fry Yeubanks. He attended local schools. He was a Golden Glove Boxer until his early 20s and him and his brother played in a band for many years. In the past he had worked for Acme, Sherwin Williams, and Coffeyville Packing. Then he worked for 25 years at Morrow Foundry as a core maker until retirement.

In 1997 he was united in marriage to Sharon Ann Smith in Coffeyville, Kansas. The couple spent their time dancing, running horse shoe tournaments and pool tournaments. Most of all they enjoyed the time they spent with their family and friends.

Carroll is survived by his loving wife, Sharon of the home children, Dorothy Gentry and husband, Rick of Tompkinsville, KY, Billie Yeubanks of Tompkinsville, KY, Casie Yeubanks and husband, Lee of Turney, MO, Harlan McIntire III of Larned, KS, Edgar Leeroy McIntire of Coffeyville, KS, Timothy McIntire of Tulsa, OK, Crystal Walsh and husband, Kenny of Independence, KS, Amber Kuehn and husband, Jason of Independence, KS sisters, Edith Kuehn of Coffeyville, KS, Gloria Kuehn and husband, Vernon of South Coffeyville, OK, Virginia Price of Coffeyville, KS brothers, George Yeubanks and wife, Loreena of Coffeyville, KS, Ronald Yeubanks wife, Treva of Coffeyville, Kansas seventeen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Virge infant daughter, Hope Yeubanks sisters, Viola Kuehn, Mary Lou Bruce and Margie Dean brothers, Lloyd Sonny Yeubanks, twin brother, Gene Yeubanks, Robert Yeubanks and Clyde Yeubanks.

A Memorial Service will be held to celebrate Carrolls life on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at FordWulfBruns Chapel at 10:00 a.m. Chaplain Mike Graham will officiate. The family suggests memorial contributions can be made payable to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or the American Cancer Society these may be left with the funeral home.
