Clara Foust

Clara Bell Foust, 96, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away Friday, March 23, 2012 at CRMC.

Clara was born on October 5, 1915 in Kingfisher, Oklahoma to Robert and Blanch Anderson. She grew up in Kingfisher County where she graduated from Pioneer High School. In 1934 she was united in marriage to Cecil Kelly, of that union two daughters, Florene and Nellie were born. Cecil preceded her in death in 1937. In 1940 she was united in marriage to Wayne Haymaker, of that union two sons, Harold and Donald were born. The couple later divorced. In 1954 she was united in marriage to Hubert Foust the couple made their home in Coffeyville. Hubert preceded her in death April 16, 2003.

Clara was a home maker and a jackofalltrades. She enjoyed crafts of all kinds, raising Teacup Poodles. In earlier years she had worked in a pottery factory, nursing home, hospital and helped run a caf. She loved her family and raising her children. Clara attended Dearing Christian Church. She was loved by many and will be missed by all, but never forgotten. Surviving to honor her memory are her daughters, Florene Rains and husband, Johnny of Hennessey, Oklahoma, Nellie Tice and late husband, Pete of Crescent, Oklahoma sons, Harold Haymaker and wife, Karen of Coffeyville, Kansas, Donald Haymaker and wife, Georgena of Dewey, Oklahoma fifteen grandchildren, numerous greatgrandchildren and greatgreat grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Blanch Anderson husbands, Cecil Kelly, Wayne Haymaker and Hubert Foust and six brothers. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 26, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at PenwellGabel FordWulfBruns Chapel in Coffeyville. Pastor Jamie Regis will officiate. Burial will follow at Robbins Cemetery west of Coffeyville. Friends may call on Monday, March 26, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home to sign the guest register. The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to the Dearing Christian Church these may be left with the funeral home.
