Clara Elizabeth Schnedler, 93, Coffeyville, Kansas died Mothers Day morning, May 8, 2011 at Windsor Place Care Center, Coffeyville. Clara was born August 9, 1917 at north of Coffeyville to Charles Elliott and Mary Lynn Elliott. She grew up and attended school in Liberty, Kansas and was a graduate of Liberty High School. Clara married Harold Dean Oneslager in 1937 and he preceded her in death. She would marry twice more to Orville Frank Mace and Don Schnedler. They too, preceded Clara in death. She worked in retail sales at Sears while living in Wichita, Kansas. Clara later moved to Parsons, Kansas before coming to Coffeyville. She was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church and the Altar Society before her health failed. Clara enjoyed quilting and sewing and was a member of a quilting club many years. She had a green thumb and was proud of the many kinds of flowers she grew over the years. Survivors are two sons, Richard Oneslager of Denver, Colorado and Garry Mace of Westminster, Colorado four grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents three husbands a brother, James Elliott and one sister, Nellie Felts. Rosary service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at PenwellGabel FordWulfBruns Chapel, followed immediately by funeral services at 10:30 a.m. with Father Ben Nguyen of Holy Name Catholic Church officiating. Interment will be in Coffeyvilles Calvary Cemetery under the direction of PenwellGabel Funeral Home amp Crematory.
