Clifford Russel "Squirt" Bartholomew passed away February 5, 2018 at age 89.
Squirt was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Pearl, sisters, Ethal, Blanche, and Clarisse, brothers, Oram, baby, Lester, Chester, Carl, and Edward, his son James Russell and his wife Nellie Laney.
He is survived by his four daughters, Linda Bartholomew and Pearl Deanna Hannah of Coffeyville, Nancy Scholes and Vickie Carter of Pittsburg, 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Squirt was born May 8, 1928 in Coffeyville to Harry Oram Bartholomew and Pearl Maria Thomasson. He attended local schools and graduated from Field Kindley High School. After high school Squirt served in the United States Army 26th Signal Corp where he spent active duty 2 years and 5 days 6 ½ hours and honorably discharged on December 12, 1956. He was a Korean War Veteran.
Squirt retired from ACME Foundry in 1988. His life consisted of Golden Glove Boxing in Joplin, MO, stock car racing, rodeo, camping, fishing, hunting, and practical jokes. He will be missed
