Obituary Clyde F. Bud Taylor Gramps Coffeyville resident Clyde F. Bud Taylor died Thursday, December 28, 2006 in Coffeyville. He was 85. He was born May 27, 1921 in Coffeyville to Frank R. and Mary Elizabeth McKellips Taylor. He grew up and attended schools in Coffeyville and graduated from Field Kindley Memorial High School. On April 8, 1943 he married Nadene Geddes in San Antonio, Texas. He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. Upon his discharge he returned to Coffeyville where he was employed by the Sinclair Refinary unitl it closed in 1949, and Parkersburg Rig and Reel for over 33 years as a machinist. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also coached Little League Baseball in the late sixties. He loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. He is survived by sons Clyde A. Taylor and wife Patsy of Spring Hill, Bob Taylor and wife Tina of Dearing, John R. Taylor and wife Judy of Iola; sister Pauline Johnson of Lakeland, Fl. Grandchildren are Ronnie Taylor of Salina, Becky Lading of Spring Hill, Gene Taylor of Wann, Oklahoma, Dawn Lanning of Coffeyville, Kelli Taylor of Coffeyville and Jessica Taylor of Independence. Great-grandchildren are Tana Campbell, Dalton Lanning, Sydnie Lanning and Laray Taylor. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Nadene, three sisters. He was a life member of the Coffeyville VFW Post 1022. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, December 30, 2006 in the Robbins Cemetery west of Coffeyville. Pastor David Bycroft will officiate. Friends may call on Friday December 29, 2006, from noon until 9 pm at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Home to sign the guest register.
