Cornelius Anthony Austin, known affectionately as “Cee” left this earthly life on March 24, 2020.
Cee is survived by five sisters, Ange, Keba, LaTrisha, Annika and Lacy; three brothers, Leander, Paul and Byron; and eight children, Cornelius Jr., Ashley, Anthony, Lexi, Deandre, Thaddaeus, Kaylan, and Jionna; seven grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Sandra Austin and Bryon Dale Campbell and his grandparents Edward and Mary Austin and Gloria Dean Colbert.
Born, September 18, 1975, Cee was large in stature and had a heart to match his big, tall frame. His dimpled smile would make you smile and his big booming voice could silence a room. He seemed to command attention wherever he went and yet he had gentle spirit and quiet soul.
Cee spent the last few years in Coffeyville and Wichita, Kansas where he was a self-employed contractor. He enjoyed spending time with his family, writing poems (like his Mom), drawing, singing, cooking and barbequing.
Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, the service for Cee will be limited to an automobile viewing only. Per the strict guidelines of the funeral home, if you decide to get out of your vehicle, you will be REQUIRED to have on a mask and gloves. There will be no exceptions. Following the viewing, there will not be a burial. His ashes will be scattered at a later date.
Donations for the family may be contributed a GoFundMe account in his name.
Thank you for being in Cee’s life and thank you for being here today to help us say “Until we meet again.”
