Dale Vogt

Dale U. Vogt, 75, of Coffeyville, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center, with his loving and devote wife at his side. He was born March 9, 1933 in Payne County, Oklahoma, the son of John and Bessie Crenshaw Vogt. In 1950, Dales family moved to Coffeyville where he met Lois May Draeger. They married on September 6, 1952 in Coffeyville. Dale was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1953 and served until 1955. He worked for Sherwin Williams for 26 years and later retired from John Deere in 1994. Surviving to honor his memory is his wife, Lois, of the home; grandson, Shelby Vogt of Wann, Oklahoma; granddaughter, Melinda James of Lenapah, Oklahoma; three great grandchildren; two brothers, Marvin Vogt of Atlanta, Texas and Ray Vogt of Altamont, Kansas; and one sister, Laverne Vogt of Coffeyville. Cremation has taken place and private services will be handled by Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Home of Coffeyville.
