Darell Lynn Best 1950 2006 Darell Lynn Best, Age 55, Coffeyville, Kansas resident entered into rest on Saturday morning, September 2, 2006 at his residence. Darell was born September 11, 1950 in Columbus, Kansas to Roy Levi Best and Ella Ray Bascue. He was a 1968 graduate of Columbus High School, Columbus, Kansas. He served in the Armed Forces of the United States for 4 years. He was honorably discharged from the Army after serving during the Vietnam War. His rank was Spec 4. On July 13, 1969 he married Susan M. Jones in Parsons, Kansas. They made their home in Bartlett, Kansas for 21 years. They have celebrated 37 years of marriage together. Darell was employed with Magic Circle now currently under Acme Foundation of Coffeyville as a Machinist for 33 years. Survivors include: his wife Susan of the home in Coffeyville, Kansas. One son, Darrell Best Jr., Wann, Oklahoma Two Grandchildren, Candice and Levi. One sister, Naomi Rhodes, Blue Mound, Kansas. One brother, Ted Best, Girard, Kansas. There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at a later time. Memorials: Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
