Darlene Laughlin

Darlene Laughlin age 87 of Coffeyville and formerly of Independence, KS, passed away on May 12, 2017 at Windsor Place of Coffeyville.

Darlene was born in Coffeyville on March 25, 1930 to Charley and Lillie (Brown) Clark. She attended and graduated from Field Kindley High School. She continued her education at Independence Community College, earning an associates degree. Darlene was united in marriage to Virgil Laughlin on November 26, 1980. The couple made their home in Independence where Darlene found employment with the Manor House. Darlene loved all animals and always had a special bond with her pets.

Darlene is survived by her stepdaughters; Patricia and Tabbie Laughlin, her friend and guardian for the past few years; Marcia Junk, and brother, Charley Clark. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Virgil.

Graveside services under the care of Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 10:00am at Fairview Cemetery. Friends are invited to sign the register on Monday, May 15, 2017 at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
