Darlene Szelipajlo

Darlene M. Szelipajlo, 76, of Coffeyville, Kansas died Friday, July 2, 2010 at her home. She was born January 15, 1934 in Coffeyville to Leslie Rosson and Addie P. Pierce Rosson. Darlene worked at Parsons Ammunition Plant for 28 years, retiring in 1995 to be caretaker of her mother. She is survived by son E. Michael Szelipajlo of Coffeyville son Skip Shy of Coffeyville, daughter Jackie Waddle and husband Jim of Lane, Kansas, daughter Debbie Smith of Coffeyville, grandchildren: Lisa and husband Mike Cannady of Olathe, Kansas, Shane and wife Rhonda Shy of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, Barry Morgan of Girard, Kansas, Shawn Shy of Coffeyville, greatgrandchildren Hank and Pierce Cannady of Olathe, Zach Shy of South Coffeyville, Shyanne Wisley of South Coffeyville Joeshia and Natosha Shy of Arkansas, brothers Buddy and wife Ida Rosson and Cleo and wife Bea Rosson both of South Coffeyville, and Steve Braschler of Coffeyville whom she thought of as her own son. There will be no services held, In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to The American Heart Association.
