Delores Heideman

DeloresDel Heideman, 86, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away Sunday, February 26, 2012 at CRMC. Del was born on April 15, 1925 in West Allis, Wisconsin to AlexanderAlex Olewinski and Catherine Babick Olewinski. She lived on a dairy farm and attended West Milwaukee High. On September 6, 1946 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, MelvilleMel Heideman in Coffeyville, Kansas where the couple made their home. Del had worked for the Telephone Company and Union Gas until she became a homemaker in 1973. She enjoyed her computer, knitting, crocheting, and bingo. In earlier years she enjoyed fishing and bowling. She was a member of the St. Pauls Episcopal Church in Coffeyville. Surviving to honor her memory are her daughters, Gloria Davis and husband, Gary of Coffeyville, Kansas Linda Malotte and husband, Wilmer of Caney, Kansas brothers, Russell Olewinski and wife, Christine of Elk Creek, Missouri, Roger Olewinski and wife, Pat of Mishicott, Wisconsin sister, Elaine Knopps of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin sisterinlaws, Dee Sullivan and husband, Jack of Wentzville, Missouri, Ruby Phelps of Coffeyville, Kansas seven grandchildren eleven greatgrandchildren two greatgreatgrandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Alex and wife Genevieve mother, Catherine loving husband, Mel brothers, Robert Owens, AlexanderJunior Olewinski and Ronald Olewinski. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at PenwellGabel FordWulfBruns Chapel in Coffeyville, Kansas. Friends may call on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home to sign the guest register. Family will greet friends Wednesday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to the Keystone Lodge 102 or the Masonic Home these may be left with the funeral home.
