Dianna Louise Houser, 74, of rural Wann, Oklahoma, departed this life on Thursday, November 21, 2024 in her home.
Dianna was born December 5, 1949, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Obe Eugene Alston and Reva Lee (Duncan) Alston. She was one of four children.
Dianna grew up in Caney, Kansas and graduated high school in 1967.
On October 20, 1970, she married the love of her life, George Houser. As a young couple, they lived in several places, Bartlesville, Caney, and Copan, but eventually settled in rural Wann, Oklahoma.
George and Dianna were blessed with three children, two girls and a boy, during their 54 years of marriage.
Dianna worked outside of the home for a short while before becoming a full-time homemaker. One could often see her on a tractor working ground, tending her garden, and caring for her animals. Her favorite times were when she was with her family. She enjoyed watching hummingbirds, cardinals, and soap operas. She loved to hunt and fish. She enjoyed the simple things in life.
Dianna is survived by her husband, George, of the home, her daughters, Deena Carrico and husband, David, of Edna, Kansas, Christy Bonds and husband, Dusty, of Fritch, Texas, and son, George Houser and wife, Tania, of rural Wann, Oklahoma. Her grandchildren, Kaleb Trowbridge and wife, Brittany, Dr. Kylie Futrell and husband, Dylan, Trevor Bonds and wife, Kileigh, Garet Houser, Dylan Stevens, Brody Bonds, Denton Carrico, Wyatt Houser, and Casen Bonds. Three great grandsons, Easton Bonds, Konnor Bonds, and Kayd Trowbridge and one great granddaughter on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Obe and Reva Alston, and one grandchild, Tyler Stevens.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 26, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Ford Wulf Bruns, Coffeyville, Kansas. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 27, at 11:00 am at the Wann Cemetery, Wann, Oklahoma.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make contributions payable to the Salvation Army Coffeyville Service Volunteers for their annual Christmas Gifts for Children drive, contributions may be left in care of the chapel.
