Dona G. Eden Seaton, 90, formerly of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Frances Streitel Villa in Collinsville, Oklahoma. Dona was born on August 22, 1921 in Montgomery County, Kansas to Albert G. and Louie Gates Eden. She grew up in the Coffeyville area where she attended rural schools. She went on to attend Beauty College where she received her Cosmetology Licenses. In 1941 she was united in marriage to William E. Seaton. The couple made their home in the Coffeyville area. In addition to her time as a Beautician, Dona worked on assembly lines for Electra and TimeMark, and also worked for the Parsons Ammunition Plant. She was very musically talented. She enjoyed playing the piano which she had played since the age of three. She was a member of the New Life Assembly of God Church in Collinsville, Oklahoma which she attended regularly. Most of all she enjoyed the time she spent with her friends and family. Surviving to honor her memory are her nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and her greatgreat nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Louie loving husband, William six brothers and four sisters. Graveside services will be held on February 7, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Robbins Cemetery Patio west of Coffeyville, Kansas. Pastor Robert Miller will officiate. Friends may call on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at PenwellGabel FordWulfBruns Chapel to sign the guest register. The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to Gideons International these may be left with the funeral home.
