Donald Edwards

Donald E Edwards age 85 of Coffeyville passed away on October 14, 2017 in Wichita.

Donald was born on March 24, 1932 in Viola, KS to Thomas E and Nellie (Walsh) Edwards. He attended and graduated from Independence High School. After school Donald found employment with as a grocer for various grocery stores around the area. He then went to work for Coca-Cola and then to Holsum Bread where he worked until his retirement after several years of service. He was united in marriage to Agatha Foster on November 14, 1970. He truly loved growing vegetables, flowers, and caring for his garden.Donald could be found out in his garden almost any time of the day.

He is survived by his children, Ronald Edwards, Don Edwards, Sandy Hachinski, Cheryl Arnold, and Pamela Williams; his sister, Margie Boggs; his grandchildren Lacey Gofourth, Parris Colbert, Justice Patton, Liberty Arnold, Kashmir Williams, Bradley Williams; and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Agatha, and brothers; Claude, Clarence, and Ralph Edwards

Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 at Robbins Cemetery Patio at 2:00pm with Dr. Dean McNamara officiating. Friends are invited to sign the register and greet the family on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel.
