Donald Slaton

Rural Coffeyville rsident Donald K. Slaton joined Nadine, his loving wife of 60 years, in eternal rest on Monday, April 9, 2007 at his home. He was 76. Don was born on November 21, 1930. He lived his entire life in the Coffeyville area and worked as a truck driver. He retired from the Missouri-Pacific railroad and later farmed and raised cattle. He is survived by two sons, one daughter, four sisters, ten grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at 10:00 AM in the Fairview Cemetery at Coffeyville. Services are under the direction of the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Home in Coffeyville. Friends may call on Wednesday from 9 AM until 9 PM at the funeral home to sign the guest register.
