Obituary Doris J. Martin Coffeyville resident Doris J. Martin entered into rest Thursday evening, May 18, 2006 in Coffeyville. She was 70. Doris J. martin was born June 24, 1935 in Parsons, Kansas to William and Florence Stocker Barragar. She grew up and attended school in Independence. In 1950 she was united in marriage to Frank Kebert. They made their home around the Neodesha area. They later
orced. Later, she was united in marriage to Floyd Martin. In 1970 she and Mr. Martin were
orced. She later became the common law wife of Mr. James Elliott. Doris was a homemaker and helped James with his auction service. Mr. Elliott died in 1987 and until she became ill, Doris was a caregiver to the elderly in their homes. She is survived by daughter Linda J. Britt of Coffeyville; son, Nick W. Kebert and wife Sheila of Birch Tree, Missouri; son, Jeff W. Kebert of Edna, and daughter Toni M. Lumbardie and husband Randall of Coffeyville, Kansas. There are twelve grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, her common law husband James Elliott and a daughter Beverly Ann Kebert, a granddaughter Ashley Kebert, sister Caroline OBrien and a brother Wallace Barragar. Graveside services will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM in the Robbins Cemetery just West of Coffeyville. Chaplin Dee Fluck with Harry Hynes Hospice will officiate. Friends may call Saturday and Sunday beginning at Noon until 9:00 PM at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel. Services are under the direction of the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home of Coffeyville.
