Dorothy Mae Moley age 87, of Coffeyville, passed away on December 9, 2016 at Windsor Place in Coffeyville.
Dorothy was born on March 20, 1929 in Arcadia, KS to James and Julia (Bettis) McNeil. She attended and graduated from Pittsburg High School. After high school she met Joseph Moley and the couple was united in marriage on February 11, 1949 in Pittsburg. The couple made their home in Coffeyville where they were blessed with four children. Dorothy worked for Independence Automotive Control where she devoted over 20 years of service until her retirement. Dorothy was a very caring and independent woman; she loved spending time with her family, playing cards and games. Her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy; she enjoyed attending their sporting events and was always their biggest fan.
Those left to honor her memory are her children, Tom Moley, his wife Terri, Joe Moley, Linda Moley, Cathy Moley, and adopted daughter into their hearts Becky Simpson, 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; she was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 63 years, a brother, 6 sisters, a grandson, and a great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 1:00pm at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel with Reverend Gary Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends are invited to sign the register and greet the family on Monday, December 12, 2016 at the Chapel from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. The family suggests memorials be made payable to the Coffeyville Community College Foundation Dorothy Moley Memorial Scholarship or a charity of the donor's choice.
