Dorothy Rose

Bartlesville, Oklahoma resident, Dorothy G. Rose, passed away Monday, October 13, 2008 at the Silver Lake Care Center in Bartlesville. She was 95. Dorothy had been a resident there for the past two years. Dorothy was born on July 13, 1913 in Lamar, Colorado to James and Flora Jacobs Hunter. She spent her time raising her family in Wichita, Kansas. She enjoyed fishing, making flower arrangements and was a pediatric nurses aid for several years. She is survived by two daughters; Mae Elsworth and Mary Cook both of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, four sons; Bill Nottingham of Marana, Arizona, David Nottingham of Afton, Oklahoma, Richard Nottingham of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and Jimmy Pearman of Tuttle, Oklahoma, fifty grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; Leland Rose in 1994, three sons; Steve Nottingham, Paul Nottingham and Bob Nottingham and brother; Frank Hunter. She is loved and will be missed. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 20, 2008 at Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel in Coffeyville, Kansas. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville. Friends may call on Sunday, October 19, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. to sign the guest register. Family will greet friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
