Douglas Antle

Douglas William Antle age 61 of Coffeyville, Kansas, passed away on February 11, 2022 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.
Douglas was born at Fort Riley, KS on October 4, 1960 to Donald William and Sarah Ellen (Cullison) Antle. Douglas was a resident of Coffeyville where he attended Dearing Elementary School and graduated from Field Kindley High School with the class of 78’. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Army where he proudly served for over 7-1/2 yrs of service with a tour in Germany for five years and then received his honorable discharge. After Douglas’ return home to Coffeyville, he earned his associates degree in business and he started working as a machinist. He then began driving a long haul 18-wheeler for Van Wyk and loved driving the truck to see the country. Douglas was blessed with a son and two daughters. He was united in marriage to Cindy (Bowen) Antle on January 16, 2004. Douglas worked hard to support his family and extremely talented at all things mechanical.  In the last year Douglas and Cindy had started Hidden Willow RV Park and that was going to be his retirement hobby.
Douglas’s memories live on with his wife Cindy, son Brandon Antle w/wife Kaycee and daughter, Jennifer Antle, of Hutchinson, Kansas and step-daughter, Samantha Bush. His brothers Curtis Antle of Naples, Florida and Dennis Antle of Dearing, Kansas, and step-father John Saner of Coffeyville. Grandchildren; Joshua Antle, Braden Antle, Lamount Braxton, Garrett Braxton, Kenzey Jeane Van Osdol, Jaiden Jeane Ribordy and Sofia Shy, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Douglas’s funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Robbins Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Chapel. To share a memory or to leave the family a message of condolence, please visit www.fordwulfbrunschapel.com
