Edna Colleen Jones, 78, died Sunday, January 31, 2010 at her home in Coffeyville, Kansas. Edna was born January 14, 1932 at South Coffeyville, Oklahoma to Edward Billups and Minnie Lovett Billups. She grew up in South Coffeyville, attending South Coffeyville and Lenapah Schools. Edna married Charles Crum on February 11, 1950. The couple later divorced. She lived in Great Bend and Hutchinson, Kansas. While in Hutchinson, she met and married Chuck Johnson on May 2, 1975. Mr. Johnson preceded his wife in death on May 19, 1991. Edna would marry Arthur Jones on February 14, 1998. She lived in Caney, Kansas before moving to Coffeyville in 2002. Edna was dedicated to her kids and grandkids. She enjoyed cooking for and spending time with her many friends at Pickwick Place. Survivors include two daughters, Diana McLean of Nowata, Oklahoma, Martha Terry and her husband, Bob of South Coffeyville a son, Gary Crum of Nowata one, sister, Mary Hoppock of Coffeyville five granddaughters, Kassidy Stubbs and her husband, Michael of Salina, Kansas, Leeann Hoff and her husband, Jason of Independence, Missouri, Crystal Baugh of Little Rock, Arkansas, Stacey Brittian and Stefine Harbold of Hutchinson, Kansas one grandson, Jeffrey Terry of Mayflower, Arkansas greatgrandchildren, Kristopher, Kaleb, Kolton and Kemberlynn Stubbs, Jason Hoff, Julia and T.J. Baugh, Alexis and Abby Terry other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents by one husband, Chuck Johnson by two sons, Barry and Ira Crum by a daughter, Brenda Crum by three brothers, Robert, Billy and Lonnie Billups and a sister, Pearl Munn. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at the Veterans Patio in Coffeyvilles Fairview Cemetery with Brother Lawrence Green officiating. Private interment will follow in Coffeyvilles Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of PenwellGabel FordWulfBruns Chapel. Friends may call at the funeral home until 8pm, Tuesday and the family will receive friends from 57 p.m. Donations to the Coffeyville Salvation Army are appreciated and may be left at the funeral home.
