Edward Robert Kinsch Edward Robert Kinsch entered into rest on December 13, 2006 in Marion, Illinois at the age of 88. Born April 26, 1918 to Roy Edward Kinsch and Maggie Jane Jones Kinsch of Parsons, KS, Edward moved to Coffeyville in 1957 where he resided for 50 years. On January 8, 1939, he married Effie Christine Fiscus in Parsons. The couple celebrated 65 years of marriage before Effies death in 2004. Also preceding him in death was his brother, Chester Kinsch. He is survived by daughters: Janice Bryant and husband Bill of Idaho; Jane Bales and husband Jim, Illinois; Doris Wilson Holste and husband Jeff , California; and Donna Abaloz from Arizona. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren: Angi and Jeff Perkins; Shelley and Thomas Hudspath; Tonia and Derick Baker; Tammy and Jason Nichols; Staff SGT Gabriel and Kimberly Abaloz; Eric Abaloz; 11 great-grandchildren and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Edward was a Machinist working for Kansas Army Ammunitions Plant, Spencer Chemical, KT Railroad, Parkersburg Rig and Reel, Acme Foundry and retiring from Parmac. After his retirement his passion was faithfully driving the van for the SE Kansas Meals on Wheels, which he did for 10 years. In October, 2001 the couple moved to Marion, IL to be near their daughter, Jane Bales and husband Jim. Mr. Kinsch was a member of Central Church of the Nazarene in Coffeyville. He received a distinguished service award from the Church for his 50 years of service that included jobs such as the Sunday school Superintendent, Teacher, Financial Secretary and Bus Driver. He enjoyed friends, music, fishing, and playing family games. Family and friends are invited for visitation on Sunday, December 17, 2006 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville, Kansas. Family members will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday December 18, 2006, at the Central Church of the Nazarene in Coffeyville. The Reverend David Warren will be assisted by The Reverend Dan Strange. Internment will follow at the Penwell-Gabels Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Garden of Devotion, Coffeyville. Memorial donations in the name of Edward Kinsch may be made to the Central Church of the Nazarene co Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home.
