Eleanor Isabell Cramer, 93, Coffeyville, Kansas died early Friday morning, March 25, 2011 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. Eleanor was born February 7, 1918 at Decatur, Illinois, but came to Parsons and later, Pittsburg, Kansas as a young girl. She received her secondary education in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. As a young woman, Eleanor worked for Sears in Overland Park and for Swansons and the Hallmark shop on the Plaza, in Kansas City. Eleanor worked for many years as a seamstress and tailor. She married Paul S. Cramer, who preceded her in death in 1965. Eleanor moved to Coffeyville in 1993 and has been a resident since. She was a member of Grace Fellowship Church and enjoyed sewing amp crocheting making rugs fishing and acrylic painting. Survivors include two sons, Mitchell Galindo and his wife, Violet of Shawnee Mission, Kansas and Ron Galindo and his wife, Wilma of Joplin, Missouri one daughter, Kathyleen Fredrickson and her husband, James of Lake Jackson, Texas six grandchildren 12 greatgrandchildren and one greatgreatgrandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents her husband and by and infant sister. A graveside memorial service will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, March 31, 2011 in Coffeyvilles Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. John Collins officiating. Services are under the direction of PenwellGabel FordWulfBruns Chapel. Those who wish may donate to the Grace Fellowship Church in memory of Eleanor. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
