Eleanor Renard

Eleanor L. Renard,85, formerly of Ellsworth, passed from this life August 30, 2010 at Guest Home Estates in Caney, KS. She has resided in Caney since 2002. Eleanor was born on July 1, 1925 in Cannon City, Colorado to Ralph and Maybelle Cooper Fear. She was raised in Kanopolis, Kansas. On August 24, 1940 she was united in marriage to RoyRed Renard. The couple made their home in Ellsworth, Kansas where they raised their three children. She enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, arts and crafts, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren. Eleanor is survived by her son, Tom and wife Karin Renard of Ellsworth, KS daughter, Sheila and husband Jim King of Owasso, OK sister, Thelma and husband Jack Lukens of Lake Placid, FL eight grandchildren, Jamie Westerhaus of Granbury, TX, Allison Pool of Dallas, TX, Tad Westerhaus of Lipan, TX, Amy Gustus of Caney, KS, Andy Black of Topeka, KS, Tyler Renard, TJ Renard, Tisha Wacker all of Ellsworth, KS twelve greatgrandchildren and one greatgreatgrandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents loving husband, Roy daughter, Barbara sisters, Margurite Johnson and Ester Kemp. Cremation has taken place. Graveside inurnment will take place on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ellsworth City Cemetery the old cemetery in Ellsworth, Kansas. Her grandson Jamie Westerhaus will officiate.
