Ellissia Ann Kendrex Clark "Lisa" age 52 of Independence, Ks gained her wings on February 26, 2024 in Gardner, Ks.
Lisa entered this world on September 23, 1971, to Michael Martin and Pamela Thames in Coffeyville, KS. Ellissia received her education from Field Kindley in Coffeyville, Kansas and later on in life worked at Beverly Rehabilitation, Acme foundry, Microtel, Paula's daycare and others. She was a wonderful wife, daughter and mother who had a close relationship with her mother, children, and siblings.
Lisa enjoyed life with family, friends, and her grandchildren by baking, reading and sipping tea. She is a founder of True Vine Missionary Baptist Church where she was a devout servant of the Lord. Ellissia was loving, selfless, and a had kind soul to all whom crossed her path. Lisa is loved and will be missed by many, but the memories made will be forever cherished. She is survived by her husband Larry Clark of the home, her children La'Krea Kendrex, Charles Mayfield Jr., Isaiah Mayfield, and Destiny Kendrex, her siblings Cornetta Newton, DeAntwoni Kendrex, Michael Thames, Lacey Alexander, and Charell Strickland, her eight grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends. She was proceeded in death by her father Michael Martin and sister Shatia Shaw.
A memorial service will be held on March 2, 2024, at Senior Citizens Activities Center 601 S. Walnut St. in Coffeyville, Kansas at 1pm.
