Elloease Elder

Elloease Church Elder was born September 19, 1914 in Coffeyville to Lafayette E. and Otie Ellen Reese Church. She died September 5, 2011 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was a lifelong resident of Coffeyville and attended Coffeyville schools through high school. She married Roscoe D. Elder on September 25, 1937. They moved to Evansville, Indiana during WW II and moved back to Coffeyville in 1945. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church and a member of Anthenaeum Club. She is survived by one daughter, Becky Chaney and her husband Gary of Wesley, Arkansas two grandchildren, Stephanie Chaney of Fayetteville and Clay Chaney and his wife Cheryl of Dover, Arkansas one brother, Donald and his wife Fran of Prairie Village, Kansas and 13 beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 2008, her son James Michael in 1995 and 3 sisters and 3 brothers. We wish to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude to the staff at North Hills Life Care and Rehab in Fayetteville, Arkansas for all their loving care and support our family received during the past 18 months. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 23 at 2:00 p.m. at PenwellGabel FordWulfBruns Chapel in Coffeyville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be First Baptist Church, P. O.
