Elmer David Hughes

Elmer “David” Hughes, 86, passed away at McAlester Nursing Center in McAlester, Oklahoma on January 16, 2025.

Born on July 21, 1938, and adopted as an infant to Elmer and Lillian (Stanley) Hughes in Wichita, Kansas, David grew up in a nurturing environment and completed his education at East Wichita High School.

Funeral services honoring David will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at 1pm at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel in Coffeyville, Kansas, with Pastor Matt Friese of First Southern Baptist Church officiating. David will be laid to rest at Robbins Cemetery, located west of Coffeyville.
