Ermaloy Langworthy, 70, Coffeyville, Kansas, died late Thursday evening, September 24, 2009 at Windsor Place Care Center. Ermaloy was born June 23, 1939 at Coffeyville to Loyd Stafford and Marguerite Henry Stafford. She grew up in Coffeyville and graduated from Field Kindley High School and later Coffeyville Community College. She also attended business college in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she trained as a keypunch operator. While in Tulsa, she met and later married, Virgil Yarnall. The couple had two children and later
orced. Ermaloy worked for Zebco Rod amp; Reel in Tulsa. She moved to Webb City, Missouri and worked for Big Smith Manufacturing in Carthage and the Buddy L Plant in Crowder. Ermaloy moved back to Tulsa and worked for Hale-Halsell for more than 10 years before her health forced her retirement and she returned to Coffeyville in 1983. Ermaloy was a member of Coffeyvilles Grace Fellowship. She loved people and was a volunteer for the Headstart Program and was a storyteller known for her great drama and details in the story. She is survived by her son, Loyd James Yarnall and his wife, Rebecca of Springfield, Missouri; a daughter, Glenda Koontz and her husband, Travis of Springfield; on sister, Bonnie Switzner and her husband, Ben of Skiatook, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Benji Yarnall of Springfield and Sarah Tisdale and her husband, Jason of Springfield and one great-grandson, JaShawn Tisdale. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services are Monday, September 28, 1009 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Fellowship with Rev. Gerald Morris officiating. Interment will be in Coffeyvilles Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel. Visitation will be Monday 9 a.m. 1 p.m. at Grace Fellowship.
