Eula Vandermark

Eula Lorraine Vandermark Former Coffeyville resident, Eula Lorraine Vandermark entered eternal rest on Monday, April 30, 2007 in Grove, Oklahoma. She was 85. Eula was born December 15, 1921 in Bartlett, Kansas to Charles and Gertie S. Bourquin Abshier. She attended school in the Mound Valley Community. Eula was a homemaker. She later was employed with Automotive Control of Independence, Kansas. In 1940 at St. Joseph, Missouri she married John E. Vandermark. He preceded her in death on April 20, 1965. Survivors include: two sons, DeWayne Vandermark Lynne of Moody, Alabama; Roger Vandermark Joyce of Miami, Oklahoma. Three grandchildren, Scott E. Vandermark, M. Shane Vandermark , Shana L. Gortney and one great grandson, Gage R. Vandermark. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, Randy D. Vandermark, three brothers and one sister. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Coffeyville. Eula was a past member of the VFW Post 1022 Womens Aux. and T.O.P.S. both of Coffeyville. She enjoyed working with ceramics. Calling hoursVisitation: Mrs. Vandermark will lie in state on Monday morningm, May 7, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Home of Coffeyville. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.. Graveside Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 7, 2007 at the Fairview Cemetery, Coffeyville, Kansas.
