Eunice Saphronia Howe Eunice S. Howe of Coffeyville, Kansas entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 27, 2007. She was 95. Eunice was born June 22, 1912 to DeWitt C. and Mary Lona Steel Looney near Valeda, Kansas. She attended school in Lenapah, Oklahoma through 6th grade. Later she graduated from the 8th grade at Wright School and attended one year of high school in Valeda, Oklahoma. Eunice married Roy S. Bridges on November 14, 1933. Mr. Bridges passed away December 11,1953. She married Edward Howe on March 16, 1956. Mr. Howe passed away December 8, 1986. Eunice lived in and near Coffeyville. She worked at various jobs in Coffeyville. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church for 40 years. She was secretary for Sunday School for 13 years. She is survived by several neices and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents; three brothers, Cecil, Emmett, and Ernest.; five sisters, Iva May, Sylvia, Elsie, Zoma L. and Zelma O. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at the Mt. Washington Cemetery in Lenapah. Dr. Wayne Norton will officiate. Services are under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Home of Coffeyville.
